The Crews. And Their Legacy,” will showcase the incredible USAF Air Demonstration Team that has been wowing audiences for over seven decades.
Led by Bowling Green’s very own Brigadier General Dan Cherry, the 1977-78 Thunderbird team performed at airshows and special events worldwide, captivating audiences of all ages. AHP has teamed up with Cherry and his fellow team members to gather an impressive collection of artifacts, including flight suits, helmets, and special mementos for this exhibit.
Prepare to be amazed by the 40-foot long exhibit case that has been meticulously prepared over the past few months. The Grand Opening kicks off at 10:00, with the park’s T-38 Talon jet on display inside the museum. Don’t miss the chance to participate in a special Q&A session with Cherry and members of the ’77-’78 Thunderbird team.
But that’s not all! The exhibit will feature cutting-edge interactive technology, allowing visitors to hear personal interviews and stories from the team members themselves.
