Restoration Efforts

Volunteers of Aviation Heritage Park have fully restored the F4-D Phantom #550.

Currently a Grumman F9F-5 Panther is undergoing restoration at the Bowling Green / Warren County Regional Airport. The restoration of the F9 Panther is proceeding nicely under the supervision of board member Larry Beam. Larry reported that the restoration team plans to begin applying the first coat of paint in April or sooner and believes the aircraft will be ready for public display at the park in the fall of this year.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the restoration efforts, please contact Larry Beam at larrykbeam(at)insightbb(dot)com.

Special Thanks to Jack Morris of JDMC Aviation Graphics for our aircraft illustrations.
